WordPress 2.0 RC-1 installed Wednesday 2005-12-07

It all worked like a breeze, including my themes and user and my permalinks.

Unpacked the disribution locally.
Copied the database connection strings from wp-config.php to wp-config-example.php and saved it as the new wp-config.php.
Deleting everything from my blog except the themes and plugins I’ve added.
Uploaded the new WordPress bunch to the server
Reached for the /wp-admin/upgrade.php from my browser
After getting an introductory error message I clicked the link Upgrade WordPress>>

That was it!

Bertil writes on Wednesday 2005-12-07: Oki! Now I don’t know which user I am, probably because my two users have the same email address. What I can see here on the “Leave a Reply” page, is that teh commenter doesn’t have the beautiful Rich Text Editor that a post author has. I wonder if this is good or bad. May the commenter still use some tags as for bold and emphasized? Also the commenter ( me ) doesn’t have any preview.
