On Google Sitemaps Wednesday 2006-01-18
Here we are – a comprehensive tutorial on creating and using Google Sitemaps.
Oh and I just discovered an automatic sitemap generator for WordPress by Andre Chaperon.
He even made a very instructive Camtasia video, showing how to install and set up the generator, and submit the site map to Google.
Impressive indeed!

OK – I have included the script. It automatically builds the sitemap and pings Google. It seemed however that one should have an sitemap_index.xml file in the doc root, linking in the two sitemaps, on for the web and one for the blog.
This requires further examination though, as I was a bit impatient checking what had been registered on Google.
