Sandy's Forum _ AS2 1.x versions _ Own changes in the release code

Posted by: fjr Sep 13 2006, 02:54 PM

Hello,

I've been playing around with Sandy for a couple of week now (release 1.1). And I have made some changes in the code to suit my need which are I think useful as for me and everyone else.
(I might put my experimentation as a tutorial on this site when it is near stable state)

I have read the forum and some people have done the same thing I did.
So my question are:
What to do with the changes I make? Can I somehow update the classes I've changed? Do they need verification and approval from the development team first?
If yes, how to do that? post it on the forum?

Thank you

Fajar Ferdian

Hi Fajar,
Well the best idea is I think to post your modifications on the forum indeed.
If you can provide some explanations with the code you add, it would be easier for me to understand it.

I'll check all the modifications you offer and validate them indeed. But as far as I know, there are still a lot of missing things on the API, so you can expect the majority of your work be keeped.

I'm also doing some optimizations, so do not hesitate to send your ideas soon, and I'll add them into the next official release smile.gif

thanks for your participation to the project!
