Hi All,

It has been a while since i have posted he so HI! and fantastic work Thomas, and everyone involved.

I have been playing around tweeking the sphere that plots as a patch between 4 angles. Ie
-180, 180, 90,-90 would give a full sphere -90,90,0,-90 would give a quater of a sphere. Would it be of any use to anyone if i post it up.

While doing the above i have found that i can test my ideas using sidefx's houdini, a 3d software where you wire operators together and can write expressions turn point numbers, uv, normals etc on/off. This is very useful for getting a quick clear idea about whats going on and help with the my understanding of the Maths and concepts involved.

This may not work for anyone else but i have found it very usefull, so thought i would share it.

Bye
Karlos

Sounds interesting.
Have you done this as a primitive, like the sphere sub classing Object3D?
I think all primitives we can get are of interest.

Hi really nice!

Sure it would be (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As petit said, any kind of primitive can be useful (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (for people like who don't know any 3D modelisation software)

BTW, do you have a link to the editor that you are talking about?
