Hello,

i would like to know something about the use of pixlib:

Why is it required to install pixlib to use Sandy?
What kind of functionality provides pixlib?
What Functions of pixlib are used by Sandy?

Thanks for answering,

Hi,
Yes Sandy requires pixlib since Sandy is using the vent system of pixlib.

Pixlib provides much more than a simple event system, you can take a look at all its possibilities on osflash.org/pixlib/

This may be true, but I can't get any version of Sandy to work with the pixlib in their svn archive. Also, why is there no way to directly download pixlib? Isn't there any way to just get sandy and pixlib in one zip file so we don't have to go out and fetch anything?
kiroukou
Well I didn't tried with the newest version of pixlib.

Using pixlib make things a bit harder to install, and I should provide a pixlib package directly with sandy...

I'll do that, supply a zip file with pixlib version I'm working with, and include it in the sandy's distributions.

What is the problem between Sandy and the latest version of pixlib?

Also, why is there no way to directly download pixlib?

At the time you wrote this, I couldn't find it either.
Today I found a rar archive at the OSFlash site, hosting the project.
Go to pixlib download and get the rar under binary.

I haven't tested that version together with Sandy though.

I've added a rar link directly from the download page of the website rather than a like.

The .rar archive available in pixlib website is the result of your requests wink.gif
