this is a beta version that launched last year during major league baseball postseason.
http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/scoreboard/20061026.html click on "GAMEDAY" above the linescore. an application will pop up. the area that utilizes sandy is the 3D pitch trajectory portion. all calculations and displays are exactly as it occured in the ballpark, transmitted in real time when game is in progress. (right now you can only see the archive). a new version of this application will be released on april 1, 2007 for the opening day game of this season. stay tune. afterwards, i will write some tutorials/documentation on how sandy played its role in this amazing effort. |
