Hey thomas et al.!
I've finally got the opportunity to post this even though the project was finished a few months ago.. http://www.johnniewalker.com It uses the 1.1 beta of Sandy for the main site motion, with a heavily tweaked BitmapScreen class to optimise the speed (a bit of a problem in as2 because of the rotating nature of the zoom!) I also added some code to the Sprite2DFace and BitmapUtil classes to allow the bitmap to be rotated 90 degrees for some of the panels. Oh, and all tweening is done using Fuse, but that's a different story! All in all I was very happy to use Sandy, even though the 3d nature of the site is quite simple in it's approach. For silky smooth motion though, i would recommend viewing on a macbook dualcore 2 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Rob |

Hi rob,
Hehe nice work! Once again the power of Sprite2D is used nicely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Hope you'll be able to use more often some 3D on your projects. QUOTE i would recommend viewing on a macbook dualcore 2 I'm one of those lucky people (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |
