Hello,

I want to expand my Flash skills and wanted to learn to use a 3d engine. I am half-way in doubt between Sandy and Papervision3d. One Papervision3d that I found quite impressive was http://www.papervision3d.org/demos/panorama . Is it also possible to do something like this with Sandy?

Rgds

Also http://www.noventaynueve.com/2007 is something that I expect to do with a 3d engine. Is it also feasible?

Hi,

Well papervision is mainly AS3 and faster.
Sandy has some nice features coming to improve performance, and join PV3D I think (I need to do more tests).
Sandy also provides some animation tools that Papervision does not seem to provide yet.

After that, it is just a question of taste.

The demos you refer to are AS3, and Sandy isn't available for AS3 yet. So if you are looking for an AS3 engine you have 2 choices : Help our team on the AS3 development, or using PV3D (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
