[Moved here from the Sandy list]
Hello,

My name is Tiago Marques and I am web designer from Portugal. I need to use some simple 3D for a project I'm working on, and found out about Sandy's Distort Image class on Lee Brimelow's Flash Blog:

http://theflashblog.com/?p=217
http://www.flashsandy.org/documentation/sa...stortImage.html

Unfortunately, my ActionScript skills are remarkebly scarse and I can't understand or use these classes just from looking at their code, because I really don't get what's written there. Also, I haven't found any guide-through tutorial that could help me cope with this class.

Could any of you long-time Sandy users explain to in very simple, and not necessarily very short fashion (I'm all hears), what data and variables do I have to code in order to distort MovieClips?... From there I'm pretty sure I can figure out a way to use Fuse or Tweener to tween one distortion settings to another (or at least inquire someone from the respective mailing lists).

Cheers, hope to hear from you,

Tiago Marques

PS. A small thought for the Sandy community and creators: not only developers -try to- use these classes... A more accessible "Sandy for dummies"-like explanation, like for instance those provided by Zeh Fernando on his MC Tween classes, is something from which people starting with ActionScript could really benefit from sometimes.
