Hello,
How could be the performance of the movie created with the Sandy optimized? I have modified a bit the code from the demos (Sprite2D Demo) so that it creates the set of 100 Boxes but the performance of the rendering is poor (3 ips) while moving the camera. What do you suggest to do to increase the performance (some example code would be appreciated). Thanks in advance. RS |

Hi,
100 boxes will always be slow I'm sorry. There's no smart optimization to do, you can play with the skin, ans with 'quad' mode, but that's all. ++ |

Indeed.
But that's why Flash is pretty much everywhere : Platform independant and light (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

does anyone of you have the problem that the flashmovie gets slower after some time?
internet-explorer as well as firefox use 90% of the cpu after some time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) and its only a box with textures. maybe it's a bug? greeting, mnyh This post has been edited by Mnyh: Jul 28 2006, 02:38 PM |

...
It's me again! I compared two Versions of my application, one with sandy 1.0a and one with the new 1.1a. everything works right with the old version, with 1.1a there is too much cpu-usage after some time. |

I've tested it, and no problem.
I'm using the external flash player9... And are you using the latest BETA? In the download room (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And you? |
